I Keep in mind Paris
None people have actually been able to take a trip much this year, so to satisfy some wanderlust, we’re taking a trip back in time today on a magical trip Louisiana Eats took to France in the summertime of 2015.

We begin the journey in the Loire River Valley at Château du Clos Lucé, with an individual trip of the last home of Leonardo da Vinci from Count Bernard Saint Bris, whose family has owned the nation manor for generations. Then, we join his sibling Marie Saint Bris as she prepares le dîner bleu in the dining room of her household’s Château Beauchêne.
Next, we’re off to the City of Lights for an insider food-centric strolling trip, led by Jennifer Greco of Paris By Mouth. The company takes visitors off the beaten course to epicurean gems that tourists seldom get to experience. We visit a variety of shops in the Marais area, including a charcuterie (Caractère de Cochon), a pastry shop (called 134 RdT before changing its name in late 2015 to Tout Autour du Discomfort), an ancient spice emporium (Thiercelin) and chocolate store (La Chocolaterie de Jacques Genin).
Finally, we visit a French marché with two American expats, Patricia Wilson and Raenette di Cicco. We sample fruit, veggies, meats and bread, all the while taking in the sights, sounds and smells of a normal Parisian market day.
